How to give us access to your Meta Page

To work on your social channels we don't need your password. All we need is partner access, which you grant from Meta and can remove whenever you like.

The video is in Italian, with an AI voice and Italian subtitles. The written guide below has the same steps in English. The screens are illustrations: Meta's menus may differ.

The written guide

The same steps as the video, in writing.

What stays yours

The Page, the Instagram account and the ad account always remain yours. We manage them; we never become their owners.

Ads

If we run ads, they are paid with your card, from your ad account. We charge nothing to Meta on your behalf and we never see your card details.

What you need

To be an admin of the Page (or have full access to your business portfolio) and a computer.

Our partner ID (business portfolio): PragmaKreative: 972431732366962

Meta's menu names change from time to time. If something doesn't match, write to us: we'll guide you.

Method A: you add us as a partner (recommended)

  1. Go to business.facebook.com and log in with your Facebook profile.
  2. Open Settings (gear icon), then Business settings, and check at the top that you've selected your portfolio.
  3. In the left-hand menu, under Users, click Partners.
  4. Click Add and choose “Give a partner access to your assets”.
  5. Enter the ID 972431732366962 and confirm.
  6. Choose what to share: Facebook Page, yes; Instagram account, yes; Ad account, only if we agree to run ads.
  7. Set the recommended permissions. Page: manage content (create and schedule posts, reply to messages, see insights). Instagram: manage content and insights. Ad account: manage ads and insights, with no billing permissions. Full control permissions are not needed: only you keep them.
  8. Click Assign assets (or “Save”). If Meta asks another admin to confirm, wait for their approval.
  9. Message us “done”: we'll check that the access has arrived.

Method B: you approve our request

If you prefer, we request access from our own portfolio. All you have to do is approve.

  1. We tell you when we've sent the request.
  2. You get a notification on Facebook and an email from Meta. Open business.facebook.com, then Business settings, then Requests (or the notification bell).
  3. Check that the requester is PragmaKreative (ID 972431732366962).
  4. Choose the permissions (as in step 7 of Method A) and click Approve.

If you don't have a business portfolio yet

It happens a lot: you have a Page but no portfolio.

  1. Go to business.facebook.com and click Create an account (or “Create business portfolio”). Enter your business name, your name and your work email.
  2. In Business settings, then Accounts, then Pages, click Add, choose “Add a Page” and select your Page (you must be its admin).
  3. Do the same for the Instagram account and, if needed, for the Ad account.
  4. Then follow Method A.

If you don't want to create a portfolio, there is an alternative: add us as a person (Settings, then People, then Invite) with our work email, which we will give you. It is less tidy and less safe for you: we advise against it.

How to remove the access

At any time: Business settings, then Partners, select PragmaKreative and click Remove. The access ends immediately.

What we will never ask you for

Your Facebook or Instagram password, verification codes, card details.

Meta's official procedure: “Give a partner access to business portfolio assets”.
